SNAP (Symbiosis National Aptitude Test)

2. Eligibility Criteria for SNAP
Candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements to apply for SNAP:
Educational Qualifications:
- The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree (in any discipline) from a recognized university or institution with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST candidates).
- Candidates in the final year of their undergraduate studies are also eligible to apply, provided they complete their degree before the commencement of the MBA program.
Age Limit:
- There is no upper age limit for candidates appearing for SNAP.
Nationality:
- The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
- Foreign nationals can apply for MBA programs at Symbiosis institutes through the Symbiosis International (Deemed) University’s Foreign Nationals Admission Process.
3. SNAP Exam Pattern
The SNAP exam is a computer-based test (CBT) consisting of 60 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) divided into 4 sections. The total number of questions and the time allotted to each section is fixed.

- General English (GE) – 15 questions
- Quantitative, Data Interpretation, and Data Sufficiency (QA, DI & DS) – 20 questions
- Analytical & Logical Reasoning (ALR) – 25 questions
- General Awareness (GA) – 20 questions
Marking Scheme:
- Each correct answer awards 1 mark.
- There is negative marking: 0.25 marks are deducted for each wrong answer.
- No negative marking in the General Awareness (GA) section.
- The total score is out of 150 marks.
Exam Duration:

- Section-wise Time: Candidates are given equal time to answer each section, and they cannot skip sections.

5. Application Process for SNAP
The SNAP application process is entirely online. Follow the steps below to apply:
Step 1: Registration
- Visit the official SNAP website (www.snaptest.org).
- Register by providing basic details like your name, email address, and phone number.
Step 2: Fill the Application Form
- Log in using the credentials you created during registration.
- Fill in the details such as academic qualifications, personal information, and work experience (if any).
Step 3: Upload Documents

Step 4: Payment of Application Fee
